The TIANprep Midi Plasmid Kit is based on silica membrane technology to eliminate contamination of protein and other organic compounds. This kit is designed to isolate plasmid DNA from 5-15 ml overnight bacterial culture, yielding up to 40 μg of plasmid DNA. The purified plasmid DNA can be used directly in downstream applications, such as restriction endonuclease digestion, transformation, sequencing and PCR.
