TIANamp N96 Blood DNA Kit is based on silica-membrane technology in a convenient 96-well format for high-throughput purification needs. No phenol/chloroform extraction is required. DNA binds specifically to the silica-gel membrane while contaminants pass through. PCR inhibitors such as impurities and proteins are completely removed in two efficient wash steps, leaving pure nucleic acid to be eluted in either water or the buffer provided with the kit.
