Usages:
For selective enumeration and count of C.perfringens in foodstuffs.

Principle:
Pancreatic month shown, soy peptone and yeast extract powder provides carbon and nitrogen sources, vitamins and growth factors; glucose and lactose to fermentable sugars provide the carbon source; partial sodium bisulfite and ammonium ferric citrate is used to detect hydrogen sulfide production, agar as medium coagulant; D- cycloserine suppressing non Clostridium bacteria.
 
Formulation (per litre):
Trypose:15g
Soy peptone: 5g
Yeast extract powder: 5g
Partial sodium bisulfate: 1g
Ferric ammonium citrate: 1g
Agar :15g
Final pH 7.6 ± 0.2
 
 
How to use:
1. Suspend 42g of the product, adding 1 L of distilled or deionized water, ,heated to boiling stirring until completely dissolved, dispensing into flask, 121 ℃ autoclaved 15min.
2.Dilluted and treated samples.
 
Storage: Store in a dark, cool and dry place, tighten the cap immediately after use. Storage period of three years.
