Toluidine Blue-DNA Agar
 
Usages:
For S. aureus nuclease resistant testing.
 
Principle:
Calcium chloride as an activating agent to provide cations; sodium chloride to maintain osmotic equilibrium; Tris as buffer; agar as medium coagulant.
 
Formulation（per liter）:
Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) 0.3g
Calcium chloride 0.0011g
Sodium chloride 10g
Toluidine blue 0.083g
Tris 6.1g
Agar 10g
Final pH 9.0 ± 0.2
 
How to use：
1.Suspend 26.5g in 1L of distilled water ,stirring heated to boiling to completely dissolve ,autoclave at 121℃ for 15 minutes.
2.Diluted and treated samples.
 
Storage: Keep container tightly closed, store in a cool, dry place, away from bright light. Storage period of 3 years.
