Usages:
For selective enrichment of Salmonella.
 
Principle:
Tryptone provide carbon and nitrogen sources to meet the needs of bacterial growth; sodium chloride maintains osmotic equilibrium; potassium dihydrogen phosphate is buffers; magnesium chloride medium increased osmotic pressure; malachite green suppressing non salmonella bacteria; lower The combination of magnesium chloride and malachite green pH culture medium with high selectivity.
 
Formulation(per liter):
Soy Peptone: 4.5g
Sodium Chloride: 8.0g
Potassium Dihydrogen Phosphate: 0.6g
Dipotassium Hydrogen Phosphate :0.4g
Magnesium Chloride anhydrous :13.58g
Malachite Green :0.036g
Final pH 5.2 ± 0.2          
 
How to use:
1.Suspend 27.1g in 1 L of distilled water , stirring heated to boiling until completely dissolved, dispensing flask, 121 ℃ autoclave for 15min.
2.Diluted and treated samples.
