3%NaCl Tryptic Soy Agar
 
Usages:
For growth test of Vibrio parahaemolyticus.
 
Principle:
Tryptone, soy peptone provide nitrogen, vitamins, growth factors; high levels of sodium chloride can inhibit the growth of non-Vibrio bacteria, it does not affect the growth of Vibrio parahaemolyticus; agar as coagulant.
 
Formulation(per liter):
Tryptone 15g
Soy peptone 5g
Sodium chloride 30g
Agar 15g
Final PH 7.3 ± 0.2
 
How to use:
1.Suspend 65g in 1L of distilled water , stirring heated to boiling to completely dissolve ,autoclave at 121℃ for 15 minutes.
2.Diluted and treated samples.
 
 
Storage: Keep container tightly closed, store in a cool, dry place, away from bright light. Storage period of 3 years.
