Usages:
For selective isolation and cultivation of Yersinia bacteria.
Principle:
Tryptone and yeast extract provide nitrogen and trace elements; mannitol as fermentable sugars; sodium deoxycholate and crystal violet inhibiting gram-positive bacteria; Neutral red is the pH indicator; agar as medium coagulant .
Formulation (per liter):
Tryptone 20.0g
Yeast extract 2.0g
Mannitol 20.0g
Sodium chloride 1.0g
Sodium deoxycholate 2g
Magnesium sulfate (MgSO4.7H2O) 0.01g
Neutral Red 0.03g
Crystal violet 0.001g
Agar 12.0g
Final pH7.5 ± 0.2
How to use:
1. Suspend 57g in 1 L of distilled or deionized water ,heated to boiling stirring until completely dissolved, dispensing into flask, autoclave at 121 ℃ for 15min.
2.Dilluted and treated samples.
Storage: Store in a dark, cool and dry place, tighten the cap immediately after use. Storage period of three years.
