Usages:
For sterile inspection of drugs and biological products.
 
Principle:
Peptone provide carbon and nitrogen sources; yeast extract powder provides B vitamins; glucose provide energy; potassium hydrogen phosphate as buffer; magnesium sulfate provide essential trace elements; agar medium as coagulant.
 
Recipe (per liter):
Peptone 5.0g
Yeast extract powder 2.0g
Glucose 20.0g
Dipotassium hydrogen phosphate 1.0g
Magnesium sulfate 0.5g
Agar 14.0g
Final pH 6.4 ± 0.2
 
Storage: Keep container tightly closed, store in a cool, dry place, away from bright light. Storage period of 3 years.
