Usages:
For multiplication and incubation of common bacteria.
 
Principle:
Tryptone provide carbon and nitrogen; beef extract provides vitamins and amino acids; agar medium as coagulant; sodium chloride to maintain osmotic balance.
 
Formulation (per liter):
Tryptone 10g
Beef extract powder 5g
Sodium chloride 2.5g
Agar 14g
Final pH 6.5 ± 0.1
   
Storage: Keep container tightly closed, store in a cool, dry place, away from bright light. Storage period of 3 years.
