TIANamp Bacteria Genomic DNA Kit is based on the silica membrane technology and a special buffer system for extracting gDNA extraction from a wide range of Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria. This kit can also be used to purify genomic DNA from pathogenic microbes in food samples, such as Staphylococcus aureus, Vibrio cholerae, hemorrhagic Escherichia coli O157: H7, Listeria monocytogenes, Salmonella, Enterobacter sakazakii, etc. Up to 10 - 40 μg genomic DNA can be rapidly purified from 1-5 ml of culture. Genomic DNA purified by the TIANamp Bacteria DNA Kit is suitable for a variety of downstream applications, including PCR amplification, restriction endonuclease digestion and Southern Blot.
