Usages:
For selective isolation and culture of Vibrio vulnificus.
Principle:
Peptone, beef powder provide nitrogen, vitamins and growth factors; sodium chloride to maintain osmotic equilibrium; cellobiose to fermentable sugars; polymyxin B and polymyxin E can inhibit Vibrio parahaemolyticus and growth alginolyticus and other non-target organisms; and bromine thymol blue and cresol red as a pH indicator; agar as medium coagulant.
Formulation（per litre）:
Peptone 10g
Beef powder 5g
Sodium chloride 20g
Bromothymol blue 0.04g
Cresol red 0.04g
Agar 15g
Final PH 7.6 ± 0.2
How to use：
1.Suspend 50.08g in 1L of distilled water , stirring heated to boiling to completely dissolve ,autoclave at 121℃ for 15 minutes.
2.Diluted and treated samples.
Storage: Keep container tightly closed, store in a cool, dry place, away from bright light. Storage period of 3 years.
